One Opening of Hope

What does God call us? That's the question we try to answer when the Bridge for Peace team names itself. Immediately we agreed the name should be In the Hebrew language. Sue suggested Petach Tikvah Echad. Petach means an opening, a door, a way through. God has repeatedly spoken to us about the door He opens, the Door He is. Echad means One. At our send off Ephesians 2 was read teaching us about reconciliation through Jesus Christ that results in One Body. Tikvah means hope. Our one hope is Jesus Christ.
The vote was unanimous. We are the Petach Tikvah Echad Team Israel, bringing an invitation to enter through the One Door Of Hope. If you are discouraged today or even despairing we remind you of Isaiah 49:23 "Those who hope in Me will not be disappointed". The Petach Tikvah Echad Team invites you to come to Jesus Christ, talk to Him, tell Him what's on your mind, what's in your heart. And listen for Him. Jesus Christ our One Door of Hope!
