Rome Invaded
Tents popped up overnight, like the shelters of nomadic tribes. They appeared in the street, perched atop scaffolding, and mushroomed on top of strategic buildings. Everyone waits for breaking news here in Rome. Bridge for Peace always comes in February, because it is the quietest time of year allowing us to minister to resident student priests with ease, but since the Pope's resignation announcement, Rome has been invaded. Ed was interviewed on camera in the street. As always, he spoke with the wisdom of a true disciple of Christ. The cameraman tried to get Ed to say something more sensational, but Ed insisted on sharing the very best news, the love of Jesus Christ.
