Annette M. Eckart is an internationally known speaker and teacher. She and her husband Ed founded Bridge for Peace, a ministry of Healing to the Nations, in 1988. Together they lead Bridge for Peace teams on short-term missions around the world, praying for people and training in biblical healing principles. Between missions Annette ministers at conferences and retreats, and hosts the Bridge for Peace television show. Annette and Ed live in Wading River, New York.

Safe Tower
"The Name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous runs into it and is safe." Proverbs 18:10 ran through my mind as I gazed across the water at Malta's capital, Valetta. Stone towers, domes, and steeples seem unshakable, but the island of Malta has known devastation from war. The Axis powers in World War II resolved to bomb or starve Malta into submission by attacking its ports, towns, and cities. They flew 3,000 bombing raids devastating this small island. The only unshakable fortress is our God. The Name of Jesus is the only security for our souls.
