Lebanese Flag

From the Lebanese Border to the Lebanese Sisters Arabic worship songs filled the small chapel in Rome and I felt we'd come full circle. In Israel a few weeks back, we'd prayed at the Lebanese border and at the gate where the exchange of prisoners occurs. Now we stood worshipping the Lord with Arabic Christians from Lebanon. Their national flag is the cedar of Lebanon, a tree often referred to in the Bible. Psalm 92:12 says, "the righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon..." As stories unfolded of Lebanese Christians fleeing their nation, I pray they will flourish under the Mighty Hand of God.
