Annette M. Eckart is an internationally known speaker and teacher. She and her husband Ed founded Bridge for Peace, a ministry of Healing to the Nations, in 1988. Together they lead Bridge for Peace teams on short-term missions around the world, praying for people and training in biblical healing principles. Between missions Annette ministers at conferences and retreats, and hosts the Bridge for Peace television show. Annette and Ed live in Wading River, New York.

Apple Green
Two friends rode with us to the local travel club to get maps for upcoming road trips, when a luggage sale took us by surprise. About three weeks ago, I was headed out for an early morning flight to speak at a retreat. Ed secured my bag and instead of the cheerful zzzzzzip it sounded more like ffffllllgggg. The zipper stuck, and then just fell to pieces. In the other demands of life, we'd forgotten we needed to replace luggage before the next mission (we fly in two weeks). God didn't forget! A snappy apple green spinner was on sale for members and on an extra 20% discount. As if that wasn't enough, our companions sponsored the purchase! Another example of how the Holy Spirit keeps us on track, something we see God doing every day.
