Made From Dirt
"I've
never seen them so close!" I pointed to herds of Uganda kob as we passed
Queen Elizabeth National Park. Augustine answered, "People burn scrub at
this time of year so animals come close to the road. The graceful Ugandan kob
reminds me of an antelope with black racing stripes painted on either side of
its face. "... God formed from the dirt of the ground all the animals of
the field and all the birds of the air" Genesis 2:19. Warthogs, hyenas,
and hippos plus crested cranes and weaver birds abound in the Uganda park. Imagine what fun God had creating them!
