Getting Provisioned
Everything takes longer here.
Trekking up and down streets to markets, dodging vehicles (not always
sidewalks), then packing our carryon luggage with groceries to be hauled
home. Last night we bolted through the
door a moment before thunder shook the building, lightning split the dark
night, and rain started pelting our patio. Ed and I shouted, "Thank you,
Jesus!" Today, an extraordinary
blue sky framed the Vatican cupola down the road. We're getting ready and expecting great
things.
