Annette M. Eckart is an internationally known speaker and teacher. She and her husband Ed founded Bridge for Peace, a ministry of Healing to the Nations, in 1988. Together they lead Bridge for Peace teams on short-term missions around the world, praying for people and training in biblical healing principles. Between missions Annette ministers at conferences and retreats, and hosts the Bridge for Peace television show. Annette and Ed live in Wading River, New York.

A Welcome Guest
Cenacle sisters from the nations including Philippine Islands, U.S., Ireland, Madagascar, and France set a table of hospitality welcoming our B4P Rome team. Smiles and laughter erupted as we became acquainted. The B4P team offered our prayers. Then sister spoke, the soothing inflections of her Irish heritage reached into my heart. She pledged their prayers for us and my tears welled up, mirroring those in her own eyes. Sister thanked us for, "...this holy visitation..." A stillness descended as God arose. In a room of kingdom workers, builders of international spaces to gather the faithful, ministers of prayer, teachers of Jesus - the desire was expressed to be firstly and finally considered disciples. The Master made Himself known in an extraordinary moment in an overwhelming way. We had an unforeseen privilege to welcome Him at our table of hospitality.
