A Laptop from God

A laptop is required of every student to complete our coursework... The text came in from Nelson in Uganda while we slept, (Uganda is 7 hours ahead of us), two days before we departed for Africa.
A little background - Three years ago Nelson was despairing. He cultivated and planted, working as a laborer to earn money for education, but he never could earn enough. God brought Nelson a sponsor through Bridge for Peace and Nelson has proven himself through excellent grades as well as becoming a campus leader in politics and initiating campus Bible studies. He will soon be graduating, but for his internship he needed a laptop.
Where would a laptop come from in two days..and how could we carry it? Our suitcases bulged with 200 lbs. of medical and agricultural supplies, BfP DVD's for pastors and necessities for leaders...
I told Ed about the text message. "We've got one," he said.
A donor had given us their locked up laptop. Lori, a whiz in the office, stripped the programming off it and got it humming. Someone else gave a case and Voila - Nelson's laptop.
While the B4P African team went to the airport to collect the Australians, we had a couple of hours with Nelson in the lobby of our Entebbe hotel. "My education has not only changed me," he said, "but it has changed my whole family and even my whole village. God bless my sponsors."
It's amazing to see how God gets a computer to B4P NY, provides a dedicated person to get it up to speed, another to give a case, and then it arrives at the very moment it is needed into Nelson's hands in Uganda. That's the Holy Spirit worldwide network.

(2Chronicles 16:9) Do you realize God cares about you so very much that He searches the world on your behalf to bless you?
